This easily is one of my favorite tracks this week - perhaps even the utmost such. Penned by the brilliant (and now touring) RAC(short for 'remix artist collective') and rising Brooklyn-based stars Body Language, Ello Ello is the second track on the former's brand new EP (it's actually part 1 of a 2-part LP) Strangers, Pt. 1 - a record that also features the equally as phenomenalLet Go(featuring Kele of Bloc Party and MNDR).
I am in love with this track and have been for most of the summer. MS MR, in case you don't know, is the band of NEON GOLD RECORDS co-founder Lizzy Plapinger. Neon Gold is responsible for some of the best acts of the last 5 years, including:

When RAC remixed this track, I knew it would be superb... and I was right. Well done, boys.

THREE TRACK THURSDAY! Hooray! Here are three remixes that I don't play very often, but I plan on changing that soon! Robyn, the pop darling of my life, is the focus today. She is pretty astounding as an artist, but I have driven that point into the proverbial ground before. The NEWS is that she's coming to Baltimore NEXT TUESDAY and I AM GOING! This is cause for celebration!
In any case, here are three remixes I barely play, but are worthy of your time and iPod. The RAC remix of Cobrastyle is a-mazing. They are great at everything they do, it seems.
The Be Mine remix is interesting because it's the same version of the song that she sings live. Quite good; darker and more reflective of the song's actual tone.
Lastly, a mashmix of Hang With Me (one of her most lyrically solid tracks) I made months ago that uses the Avicii remix as a base, cuts it up, and infuses a rhythm line from a Scanners/LA Riots remix. This one I haven't played in a few months, but goes over very well with crowds. It's lovely.
I think, perhaps, after weeks of blaring the loud electro of the SHIFTeaserMix in my headphones, I needed something downtempo and beautiful to soothe me. That's where this track magically and oh so serendipitously manifested itself into my iTunes. I hope you enjoy this piece of eden as much as I do. RAC has once again worked some witchery here.
