While I like the video, I fail to see how this applies:
"Said Gaga of her upcoming video for "Alejandro": "I've been unable to find that with a straight man in my life. It's a celebration and an admiration of gay love - it confesses my envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together. In the video I'm pining for the love of my gay friends - but they just don't want me."
Isn't the song about drug use or something barely metaphorical? I think the video is conceptually sound, but that doesn't necessarily match what she was going after, oddly enough. Anything is better than the polished turd she put out for an unbecoming track in 'Telephone.'
