Better known to his friends as Mikey, Mr. Adolphson started the SHIFT party as an avenue to spill out the best of dance music to a District that greatly craved it. His vision of mixing indie rock, new wave, electro, 90s dancerock, pop, and indie dance with a crowd of the same diversity has been not only fruitful, but looks to keep progressing. He has headlined WTF?, HHHH, The Hirshhorn's Pride After Dark, and many other big parties with his eclecticism, always-danceable sets, and energetic enthusiasm in the booth.
