MAJRmusic: come have a vicodate with lil'el and jacko

After the shock of Michael Jackson's death yesterday, we must march on and celebrate his life. He may not have been perfect. He may have been batshit crazy. He may have consumed more vicodin than Liz Taylor's on a Tuesday...but, he changed music. He changed everything. He was a talent that may never be matched, and he will be remembered in the same breath as Elvis, The Beatles, and Madonna as one of the biggest music stars of our time. So, on Saturday @ SHIFT, come celebrate how MJ attempted to heal the world and make it a better place one small touch at a time.

On Saturday, from 11:30-12:30, our guest DJ Lil'el will be dedicating a large portion of her set to MJ and his art. I hope everyone can make it in to hear this magnificent spinstress in action. She raises the bar for District disc jockeys, and will lightin' a dancefire under your ass.
