"Buy My Love (MAJR club edit)" - Wynter Gordon

Goddamn you, Wynter Gordon. You are making me less and less want to take a poop on your head. This track was a lot of fun to edit into a club track, and I really am addicted to it. Give it a few listens, and if you aren't secretly humming "You can be my sugar daddy...", then you have no soul and deserve water-boarding. Have a wonderful day!

Yes. Ma'am.

weekenditty: Love U More (Buzz Junkies vs. MAJR edit) - Sunday Girl

Sunday Girl is slowly growing into my good graces, I must say. And, Buzz Junkies, who haven't been on my radar since their (fucking amazing) remix of Robyn's Dancing On My Own (Listen/DL HERE), 18+ months ago, are back in my happy place.
I downloaded this remix recently, and though I love listening to the entire 7:00+ track while walking, I wanted to make it club-ready. It's quite beautiful, yet danceable, and that's something I like about Buzz Junkies. They have a fantastic grasp of trance-influenced house, with a modern electro edge- and that makes me smile. So, here you go! Enjoy your weekenditty. A track that will make you wish it was Summer again. Now, throw this on your Bose dock, slip into something a little more comfortable, and do ecstasy in a hottub. Don't forget your Fuji water bottle.

PS: if you like the track, check out RAC's fantastic remix as well, HERE.
PSS: below is the original track's VIDEO!

fresh: "Goodbye Horses" - Kele

Kele, lead singer of Bloc Party, has released a new EP (back in November) called The Hunter. It's pretty fucking great, considering this is his first EP after his first LP (last year's The Boxer). After his phenomenal vocals on Martin Solveig's Ready 2 Go, and Tiƫsto's It's Not the Things You Say, it's easy to say that my favorite black homosexual singer is battin' a thousand right now.

Here's my first love on this EP. This song is just glorious. It gives electronica lovers an eargasm and makes indie lovers adore all that is their amour for Bloc Party's heart and soul.

Umm... how could you forget this sparkling gem?

Ahhh, ::sigh::, so many memories...

Shake (MAJR club edit) - Little Boots

I have a serious Little Boots fever right now. I have missed her so much! Anyway, here's a taste of what I'll be dropping at clubs. Get on it!

"Electric Chapel (Two Door Cinema Club remix)" - Lady Gaga

Of all the remixes on Lady Gaga's somewhat terrible remix album, this one takes the cake. Perhaps it's because I love Two Door Cinema Club - or I just love anything that sounds a little more indie-electro - but this remix is truly an interesting, if not awesome, take on one of the somewhat forgettable tracks from Born This Way.

Since I can't currently upload to mediafire (I'm posting remotely), if you want the track, just shoot me an email at MAJRmusic@gmail.com

I hope everyone is as excited as I am for Friday! It's going to be the cat's pajamas. I may even play this. WOOHOO!

remix monday: "Seven Nation Army (Digitalism remix)" - White Stripes

So, I am super jealous of my home city, Washington, DC, tonight. Digitalism will be there at U Street Music Hall, and I won't be back in DC until Thursday! Life is a soulless slutwhore sometimes... but the silver lining is that I will get to throw a massive bash when I arrive... and I am basically vibrating with excitement about that. Woohoo. Anyway, back to this fantastic remix of the White Stripes...

"I Wanna Dance With Somebody (OCD Automatic vs. MAJR edit)" - Whitney Houston

There are so many things to love about this Whitney Houston remix (by OCD Automatic), that I had to make it club-ready for tonight. So, here's my club edit of perhaps the gayest remix of the gayest of the gay anthems. A track so homocentric, it refills your lube dispenser.
Don'tcha wanna dance!
Say ya wanna dance!
Don'tcha wanna dance!

I'm not only going to rock this tune tonight at Zen Rock and Pete King's Red Ribbon Ball (a benefit for World AIDS Day), but I am especially going to beat DC over the head with it next week at SIREN: The Holiday Hooker Ball.
